Setup Procedure
Designing an autumn berry vine garland relies on flowing circular lines and contrasting warm berry tones to frame the natural shape of the pumpkin. Apply a light taupe or warm gray base coat over a medium pumpkin, providing a neutral backdrop that allows saturated berry colors to stand out. Paint a continuous dark brown grapevine winding horizontally around the upper shoulder of the pumpkin, creating overlapping loops that drape naturally along the ribs. Add dense clusters of small round berries along the vine using burnt orange, deep cranberry, and soft mustard yellow acrylic paints applied with the wooden handle end of a paintbrush.
