The pineapple bun gathers tight coils forward near the forehead, protecting curl definition while allowing loose ends to mimic full, textured bangs. Bend forward at the waist and brush all coily hair upward toward the front top of the head, near the hairline. Fasten the hair loosely with a wide fabric scrunchie, ensuring you do not pull the band too tight to avoid crushing coil volume. Allow the open ends of the ponytail to fall forward over the forehead, creating a voluminous layer of faux bangs across the brow. Fold a square satin scarf into a long two-inch strip and wrap it around the back and sides of the head, tying it securely at the front base. Adjust the forward-falling coils using your fingers to achieve a balanced, rounded shape.
