Drawing inspiration from classic vintage silhouettes, the retro pin-up crop utilizes sculpted curls and defined side placement to craft a timeless look. Start with damp hair and apply a setting lotion evenly from roots to ends to provide structural memory. Create a deep side part using a fine-tooth comb, directing the top curls up and over toward the wider side of the part. Roll individual curl sections smoothly around your finger and pin them flat against the scalp using bobby pins to set the wave pattern. Allow the hair to dry completely under a bonnet dryer or by air drying over several hours. Carefully remove the pins and gently brush through the curls with a soft-bristle brush to form continuous, uniform S-waves along the front and crown. Secure the sculpted shape with medium-hold hairspray for polished vintage sophistication.
