Vaulted Ceiling Timber Study
How to Make
Building a vaulted timber study focuses on assembling realistic ceiling beam architecture inside a tall, narrow wooden box. Cut several thin strips of balsa wood, stain them with a deep oak wood finish, and glue them diagonally along the top junction of the walls to form exposed timber trusses. Cover the vertical walls with faux stone wallpaper or hand-carved foam bricks to simulate thick library walls. Arrange tall timber bookshelves along both side panels, filling each shelf completely with colorful miniature book spines crafted from folded paper strips or carved wooden blocks. Position a long central oak study table in the middle of the floor panel, equipping it with tiny paper scrolls and tiny brass lamps. Install a hidden LED strip along the underside of the central ceiling beam to evenly illuminate the entire timber layout.
