Setup Method
Setting up an angled forward wave drift directs the thick top hair diagonally from the back crown toward the front corner of the eye. Establish a low undercut around the nape and lower temples, maintaining a smooth gradient from the base hairline upward. Section the long top hair and cut it at a forward diagonal angle, making the back crown layers slightly shorter than the front bangs. Apply a heat protectant spray and use a small barrel curling wand on any stubborn top strands, curling them loosely forward and toward the side. Gently run a wide-tooth comb through the curls to fuse them into a cohesive, sweeping wave that drapes softly over the forehead, creating an organic frame around the eyes.
