Repurposed porcelain teacups filled with hand-poured wax create charming vintage lighting accents that double as unique party favors for guests. Collect mismatched porcelain teacups with floral patterns from local consignment shops, ensuring the ceramic interiors are completely clean and dry. Center a cotton candle wick at the bottom of each teacup, securing the metal tab base with a small dot of hot glue. Melt natural soy wax flakes in a double boiler system, stirring in subtle essential oils like lavender, vanilla, or chamomile for gentle fragrance. Carefully pour the liquid soy wax into each teacup, leaving a quarter-inch space below the inner rim, and support the wick upright using wooden sticks while cooling.
