Idea 3: Corner Wall-to-Ceiling Bat Flight Corridor
Execution Process
Utilizing neglected wall corners to create a continuous wall-to-ceiling flight corridor adds spatial depth to open-concept living rooms and hallways. Trace and cut twenty-five asymmetrical bat shapes from heavy dark charcoal art paper to give the flight path a modern, organic aesthetic. Apply removable mounting strips to the underside of each torso section, keeping the wing structures unattached to allow natural air currents within the room to move the paper slightly. Begin mounting the dense cluster within the lower corner junction of two meeting walls, extending the flight path diagonally across both wall surfaces simultaneously. Carry the smallest bat cutouts up past the crown molding, continuing the installation eighteen inches onto the flat ceiling surface to produce a seamless room-spanning transition.
