Setup Method
This asymmetrical option leaves longer waves on one side of the face while tapering the opposite temple for a modern contrast. Section the hair along a deep side part aligned with the pupil of one eye. Trim the shorter side close to the scalp using scissor-over-comb technique, blending seamlessly into the back neck region. On the longer side, cut the wavy strands at a diagonal angle, keeping the front pieces long enough to sweep gracefully across the brow line. Use thinning shears internally through the dense wave sections to prevent bulky buildup behind the ears. To style, work a dampening spray through the hair, direct the top section sideways with a wide comb, and let it air-dry naturally.
