Choppy Pixie with Piecey Side Fringe

Setup Method

The choppy pixie uses heavy point-cutting throughout the front and top to create distinct, isolated wave clusters over a tapered base. Taper the back and sides evenly using scissor-over-comb methods to establish a clean foundation. On the top, cut the hair into uneven, alternating lengths ranging from one to two and a half inches. Angle the front fringe toward the side, snipping deep vertical notches into the ends to prevent the fringe from forming a solid horizontal line. Style by massaging a lightweight hair paste into the roots and pinching individual wave tips together to create distinct piecey strands that highlight natural silver or highlighted tones.
