Define the sleeping area with a painted architectural archway motif that frames the bed against a light sage green background. Paint the entire wall in a soft, low-contrast sage green eggshell paint, allowing it to dry completely. Measure the width of your headboard and mark a centered rectangle on the wall, extending upward to roughly three-quarters of the wall height. Attach a string to a pencil, hold the string fixed at the top center of the rectangle, and sweep a precise semi-circular arch across the top boundary.
