Vertical Striated Broom Dragging Setup Method
Replicate the sophisticated look of woven linen wallpaper by pulling a stiff-bristled broom through a freshly applied glaze layer. Coat the entire wall in a light satin background color, letting it dry for a full day before applying your decorative topcoat layer. Mix equal parts accent paint with clear acrylic glaze medium and roll an even coat over a vertical three-foot section of the drywall surface. Hold a clean, stiff-bristled whisk broom at the ceiling trim line and pull it straight down to the baseboard in one continuous vertical stroke. Wipe accumulated glaze off the broom bristles after each pass before repeating the process horizontally across the wall to create fine, uniform fabric-like threads.
