Tiered bubble braids create a lightweight, durable silhouette that keeps coily hair contained without causing heavy weight distribution across a child’s scalp. Section the top crown area into three vertical rows running from front to back, securing the side sections out of the way. Within the central row, create a series of small, connected ponytails starting at the front hairline, feeding each ponytail into the next one behind it. Once the central feeder line reaches the crown, join it with the side sections to create two long hanging ponytails. Slide additional soft elastic bands down the length of each hanging ponytail at two-inch intervals, creating distinct, evenly spaced bubbles. Gently pull the outer edges of each enclosed section outward to enhance volume, finishing by wrapping colorful satin ribbons around each elastic base.
