Setup Method
An organized wooden pegboard system offers unmatched flexibility for hanging coffee gear, allowing simple adjustments as your accessory collection grows over time. Cut a sheet of thick hardwood pegboard or birch plywood with pre-drilled holes to match your target wall space specifications. Mount horizontal wooden spacer strips onto the wall studs first, creating a necessary half-inch gap behind the board for peg hook insertion. Secure the pegboard onto the wall cleats using heavy-duty wood screws and washers driven through the front face corners. Sand the entire front surface, applying a light wood stain or neutral paint color to complement surrounding kitchen cabinets and appliances. Insert custom wooden pegs or black metal wire hooks into the grid pattern to suspend measuring scoops, frothing pitchers, and coffee cups. Position small clip-on wooden shelves onto lower peg groups to hold glass spice jars containing cinnamon, cocoa powder, and espresso toppings.
