Idea 10: Tucked Rope Twist Chignon
How to Make
The tucked rope twist chignon presents a refined, low-slung profile that rolls hair away from the neck into a smooth horizontal arrangement. Gather all hair at the nape of the neck and form two identical low rope twists side by side, securing each tip with a thin elastic band. Cross the right rope twist over the left twist horizontally along the lower hairline, tucking its end underneath the base of the opposite twist. Secure the right twist in place using two horizontal bobby pins inserted directly into the core of the twist. Take the left rope twist, lay it horizontally over the top of the right twist, and tuck its exposed end neatly inside the underlying hair mass. Insert several U-shaped pins along the top and bottom edges of the horizontal roll to lock both twists together firmly.
