Idea 6: Wrapped Rope Accent Ponytail
How to Make
Incorporating a small rope accent into a classic mid-height ponytail adds subtle texture and creative detail to an everyday hair organization routine. Gather all hair into a mid-height ponytail at the back of the head, leaving out a half-inch strand at the underside near the neck. Fasten the main body of hair with a durable band, then divide the remaining isolated strand into two equal micro-sections. Twist both halves individually and wrap them together in reverse to construct a thin, precise micro-rope twist down to the end. Wrap this completed micro-rope tightly around the main elastic band, covering the rubber material completely to form a clean, custom hair wrap. Insert a small bobby pin underneath the ponytail base to hold the tip of the micro-rope securely out of sight.
