Crafting a icy, crystalline frosted jar adds a tactile, winter-inspired texture to seasonal dining table arrangements and mantelpiece displays. Prepare a glass mason jar by brushing an even layer of thick craft glue across the lower two-thirds of the outer glass body. Roll the wet jar across a flat tray filled with a generous mixture of coarse Epsom salt and fine white iridescent glitter, ensuring complete coverage over the adhesive area. Allow the salt coating to dry undisturbed for two hours before gently tapping off any loose granules over a waste basket. Wind a band of dark burlap ribbon around the top glass rim, securing it flush against the jar neck with a drop of hot adhesive. When lit from within by a cool-toned LED candle, the salt crystals refract the interior beam, producing a glittering frosted effect reminiscent of crisp autumn frost.
