Construct an iconic pin-up focal point by isolating a three-inch triangular section of hair directly at the front hairline and upper crown. Backcomb the underside of this section using a fine-tooth tail comb, applying light hairspray near the roots to create a firm cushion. Smooth the outer surface of the isolated hair over your index fingers, rolling the ends inward toward the scalp to form a hollow, hollow-centered victory roll tube. Anchor the roll securely from the inside using dark hairspray-coated bobby pins inserted parallel to the scalp so no metal remains visible. Curl the remaining short hair around the sides and nape using a small iron, setting them in tight pin curls turned toward the center. Brush out the lower curls gently, allowing them to form a soft, voluminous frame that balances the structured victory roll crown.
