Setup Method
Form a dynamic, cascading wave profile across a short cut by setting top and side sections in alternating forward and backward barrel curls. Use a one-inch curling wand, rolling front sections forward toward the face and rear sections backward toward the crown to generate contrasting directional volume. Unclip the set curls after fifteen minutes, using a cushion paddle brush to blend the opposing curl directions into an interconnected, voluminous wave structure. Gather the hair on one side from the temple back toward the nape, twisting the section tightly against the scalp to pull hair away from one side of the face. Fasten the twist behind the ear with two crossed bobby pins, covering the attachment point with a black vintage velvet hair bow. mist the open, cascading curls on the opposite side with flexible-hold spray to maintain elastic, bouncy movement.
