Execution Process
Build height and formal elegance on ultra-short hair by separating the top section from the temples back to the crown. Section the top hair into three horizontal strips, backcombing each strip at the base to build a dense foundation of internal volume. Spray the roots with dry texture spray, then smooth the front hairline backward while maintaining the elevated height to form a sleek pompadour profile. Roll the ends of the pompadour under toward the crown, pinning the roll internally with hairpins pushed straight into the backcombed base. Curl the shorter hair along the side temples upward into small, tight ringlets, pinning each ringlet flat against the head using mini bobby pins. Smooth the overall silhouette with a light coating of hair pomade applied with fingertips to tame flyaways and sharpen the structured, architectural pin-up shape.
